Bio:
Rob picked up the
drums in 5th grade listening to the 5th Dimension,
Chicago, and the Carpenters. He had to wait until 2 years of
piano and 7th grade before he got his first drum
kit. He participated in concert band and jazz band at Willow
Glen HS in San Jose. Upon graduating from high school, he joined
RPM with other friends from Willow Glen and had some great gigs.
Rob went on to play with
RPM,
The Shreds, and the Tourists at many clubs and venues in the
Bay area in the 80s. He also got to play Drum Kit with Maynard
Ferguson and the San Jose City College Wind Ensemble. It was
the fastest 30 minutes of his life. Rob and his wife Barb + 5
kids moved up to Seattle in 1992. The whole family sings and
plays instruments.
